CLS Specialty Surgical Products was established in 1989 as Coastal Life Systems in Corpus Christi, Texas. We began our journey as a small distributor for cardiovascular perfusion products used in heart bypass surgery and had several locations for warehousing. The various facilities were consolidated in San Antonio, Texas in 1998 to maximize our warehouse space and streamline operations. Our 55,000 square foot facility has 45,000 square feet of climate-controlled manufacturing and warehousing space.
CLS has enjoyed steady growth over the years, during which we have expanded our product lines and diversified into areas outside cardiovascular surgery, most notably with the recent acquisition of Surgimedics in 2013.
